    YES! Another great show. Loved Tim’s comment on The Lovely Bones. I keep bringing that up whenever I discuss The Hobbit with people and how everyone is excited for it. I’m just going in with no expectations at this point.

    I’m one of those in the camp that likes the motion flow on new TV’s when adjustments are made. I have an awesome Sony set and with my motionflow adjusted just right it really does look stunning. Feels like 3D without the glasses almost, with everything so smooth and textured.

    ITALIANS = HOBBIT GOLDMINE.

    I’m digging these re-releases. I mean they can’t really hurt anything. Allowing newer film-goers to experience some classics on the big screen is AWESOME. A theater near me used to do this for months at a time. Weekly classics for $5 all day and night. They stopped doing that after people stopped attending though.

    It was really awesome seeing my favorite film (The Shawshank Redemption) for $5 on the big screen sometime last year.

      Thanks, Jeremy!

      I think it’s perfectly clear now that the Italians won’t let any amount of bad press or questionable creative decisions stop The Hobbit from being a massive success.

      Screw that motion-flow shit though.

    Tie-ins! TIE-INS!!! :)

    BTW, Terrence, I just looked it up, and you were right! Netflix on Xbox 360 got 5.1 sound capabilities with the last system update. I stand humbly corrected!

    I also realized that when we were talking about Nintendo systems, I totally skipped over the Nintendo 64. I loved my Nintendo 64! How the hell did I manage to skip over it?!

    I was in the mood to torture myself a bit the other night and started up Transformers: Dark of the Moon on Netflix and I was kinda bummed when I realized the audio was only stereo no a full 5.1 mix. Breaking Bad not only looks fantastic but is in full 5.1. I’m guessing we’ll see a lot more upgrades to 5.1 with their offered titles.

    Funny you mention the 64, I remember thinking as we were recording that I was surprised it hadn’t been mentioned. I actually still have mine, simply for Goldeneye and Conker’s Bad Fur Day.

    You forgot about the N64 because it wasn’t a very good system.

      GoldenEye and Ocarina of Time tell you to shove it, Stew.

      (But, okay … maybe the N64 didn’t have the deepest catalogue of good games.)
